The Master of Arts in Ministry provides a comprehensive theological education with a strong focus on the cultivation of ministerial skills through supervised placements. Candidates undertaking full-time study can expect to fulfil the degree within two years.

The Master of Divinity, Track I degree is specifically designed for seminarians undertaking our Programme of Priestly Formation. Each term offers a diverse mix of courses in Biblical studies, theology, and pastoral care.

MASTER OF DIVINITY ROUTE I

This program imparts mastery over the manual acts of the sacraments. Through focused video sessions, participants gain in-depth liturgical and theological insight, ensuring every celebratory ritual is performed with reverence and precision.

CERT IN PRACTICAL MINISTRY

Designed with both the aspiring minister and the inquisitive seeker in mind, our programme provides a dynamic environment where you can deepen your theological insight, strengthen your spiritual life, and engage actively with the wider community.

CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAM

The Three-Year Master of Divinity (Master of Divinity, Track II) programme is designed to provide students who are not enrolled in the Seminary’s Programme for Priestly Formation with a curriculum spanning traditional theological disciplines.

At the heart of St Thomas’ is the desire to form those discerning pastoral ministry – being Christ’s hands and feet to those around them. Our certificate program provides an introduction to the tenets of the faith and ways to discern calls to ministry.

CATHOLIC PHILOSOPHY

This certificate is designed to offer an introduction to the practice of philosophy as it is realised within the Catholic tradition. It provides a comprehensive philosophical enquiry, enabling you to cultivate a lifelong commitment to wisdom and truth.

CATHOLIC BIBLICAL STUDIES

The Certificate in Catholic Biblical Studies provides a foundation in the study of Sacred Scripture. With an emphasis on its theological context and the full canon, our programme presents an explicit philosophy of interpretation and a faith-based hermeneutic.

MASTER OF THEOLOGY

The Master of Arts in Theology programme provides an initial postgraduate qualification in academic theology. This degree principally emphasises the development of theological understanding while also incorporating an element of professional practice.
